The Blind Parents Resource has three core focus areas:

1. There has been almost no collection of data on the numbers and needs of blind parents– until now. Blind Parents Resource is leading the way in this still emerging science. Only if we measure the numbers and needs of blind parents can we address them. Data is collected through objective surveys, focus groups and other means.
2. Blind Parents Resource provides accessibility solutions for technologies, products and services used by blind parents.
3. Blind Parents Resource provides a social network for blind parents in order to further all types of information sharing and support.
